Pedestrian Struck by Dump Truck in Newport, NH

A man has died in Newport, NH after being struck by a truck, reports WMUR.

On Thursday, January 9, 2020, a dump truck turning from Bald Mountain Road onto Sunapee Street struck a pedestrian. According to officials, the driver is cooperating and speed has not been deemed a factor. The road was closed from Sand Hill Road to Springfield Road in Newport.

The victims family was being notified at time of writing.
