Two New Hampshire residents have been exposed to the deadly coronavirus and are now being monitored, reports WCAX.
According to the report, the two citizens recently spent time in the Chinese city where the outbreak stemmed from. State Department of Health and Humane Safety officials state that they “developed respiratory symptoms” and have now been isolated for tests.
The coronavirus has sickened thousands across the world, while killing at least 80 Chinese citizens. Symptoms of the virus include fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. It spreads person to person. Five cases have been confirmed in the United States, while over 100 people are being tested.
If the two are confirmed to have the virus, state officials will tell the public.
