A deer in Claremont, New Hampshire is stuck afloat behind the Common Man Restaurant, reports MyNBC5.
On Monday morning, citizens reached out to authorities about the stranded deer. NH Fish and Game, Claremont PD and FD were notified and began to set a plan of action. Rescue crews have decided to wait until night, hoping the deer will find it’s own way to safety. Locals have been informed not to try their own rescues, as it could be dangerous.
It is not known how the deer got onto the ice flow.
