35 Kearsarge Students Asked to Stay Home Following Coronavirus Exposure

The Kearsarge Regional School District has asked 35 students to stay home due to coronavirus exposure, reports Infonh via Facebook.

According to a statement from district Superintendent Winfried Feneberg, the 35 students recently took a trip to Europe, touring France, Italy, and the UK. They state that, “Although COVID-19 is present in Italy, students were in the Lombardy and Veneto region of the country for a very brief period of time and there is no indication that the students were exposed to the virus.” To take caution the district has asked the students not to return to class this week, and to come back on March 9.

In the interim, the students will be able to continue to do their schoolwork through multiple online resources.
