NH Coronavirus Patient Attended Party Against Quarantine Orders

Despite quarantine, patient diagnosed with New Hampshire’s first confirmed case of the coronavirus attended party, reports NBC 10 Boston.

The patient attended a party Friday at the Engine Room in White River Junction, Vermont, as part of an “invite-only” event. They had been ordered to remain isolated. Now, all members who attended the event have been asked to remain isolated for up to 14 days as the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services investigates further. At the event, NH’s second confirmed coronavirus patient was reportedly “in close contact” with the other patient, prior to their diagnosis. The Engine Room is being sanitized by a professional company, they reported via a Facebook post.

The NH cases are two of 125 confirmed in the United States, with more likely to come.
