The 39th annual Prouty will go on as planned, digitally, reports WMUR.
The event, which raises money for cancer research at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be asked to choose a date between June 1 and June 11 to bike, row, walk, or get active while practicing correct social distancing.
The event typically draws around 4000 people to the Hanover, New Hampshire area and has raised more than $40 million for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
