A gas leak at the West Lebanon, New Hampshire Hannaford closed the store for two hours Thursday, reports The Valley News.
At approximately 11:20 AM, firefighters evacuated the building when responding to a call reporting a “gas leak.” It was identified as a Freon leak used in the store’s produce area. The leak was discovered when a technician found a whole in some piping in the area. The store was closed until 1:30 PM for repairs and to remove the Freon.
