Main Street in Putney, Vermont is set to be closed for construction, reports WCAX.
Beginning on July 6th, Route 5 over Sacketts Brook will be closed for two weeks. This will allow for crews to remove the bridge’s concrete deck, so a new one will be installed.
While drivers will be asked to take Interstate 91 to avoid the bridge, locals are reportedly worried that they will use Sand Hill Road instead.
