Unemployed VT Residents Have Not Yet Received Extra $100 Per Week From State

Unemployed Vermont citizens have yet to receive their extra $100 per week from the state, reports WCAX.

The money was reportedly meant to soften the blow for people when the extra $600 from Congress ran out. The $100 a week is included in the updated budget that has yet to land on Governor Phil Scott’s desk for final approval.

According to WCAX, VT will use the CARES ACT funds to pay the $100 boost, but Scott has yet to decide whether these payments will be backdated or not.
