White Supremacist Found Guilty of Rape Threat

A federal jury have found a Keene, New Hampshire white supremacist guilty of criminal threatening and extortion, reports nhpr.

On Monday, jurors delivered the verdict to 39-year-old Christopher Cantwell, who had been accused of threatening to rape the wife of a man whom he reportedly believed had been harassing him online. He was found guilty on two charges, but not guilty on cyber-stalking charges.

Prosecutors state that Cantwell threatened to rape the wife of the victim if he didn’t give information about the organizer of a group named “Bowl Patrol”. Media reports state that members of Bowl Patrol support violence against racial and religious minorities.

Cantwell then released the victim’s private information, including his address, on an online forum. He also filed a report with child protective services against the victim.

Cantwell has been taken into custody, and awaits sentencing in January.
