VT Department of Health Reports 23 New COVID-19 Cases on Monday

According to the Vermont Department of Health, there have now been a total of 2,219 COVID-19 cases reported statewide.

Health officials reported 23 new confirmed cases on Tuesday. There are currently three VT residents hospitalized due to COVID-19, with one other hospitalization under investigation. To date, 58 deaths (2.6% of cases) in the state have been linked to the virus. So far, 82.3% of all infected (1826 people) have recovered from COVID-19. In total, there have been 415,518 tests conducted.

The Department of Health states that testing numbers include tests conducted at the Health Department Laboratory, commercial labs, and other public health labs. The death totals come from persons known to have the virus.
