
The state of New Hampshire has released the all-state teams for D-III and D-IV, with numerous local student-athletes receiving honors.
In Division-III, two Stevens High School Cardinals were named to All-State First-Team Offense; Senior Wide Receiver Clayton Wadsworth, and Senior Athlete Owen Taylor. On the defensive side of the ball, Junior Linebacker Pascal Lemieux was named All-State First-Team. Four Cardinals were listed as Honorable Mentions this year; Sophomore Hunter Christian, Senior Braxton LeBlanc, Sophomore Colby Shepard, and Senior JJ Tursky.
In Division-IV, local student-athletes were honored as All-State First-Teamers from the Fall Mountain Regional High School Wildcats, Mascoma Regional High School Royals, and the State Champion Newport High School Tigers. Representing Fall Mountain on offense was Senior Running Back Izaak Westover. On the defensive side of the ball, the Wildcats were represented by Senior Defensive Linemen Alex Flynn, Senior Defensive Lineman Tyler Swain, and Senior Linebacker Reggie Decamp. Honorable Mentions include Junior Offensive Lineman Quinn Healy and Junior Linebacker Luke Gay.
Two Mascoma Royals were represented on First-Team Offense; Senior Quarterback Mike Evans, and Senior Offensive Lineman Caleb Hobbs. Junior Defensive Back Josh Evans earned First-Team Defense. Junior Lineman Owen McKinney was named as an Honorable Mention.
An undefeated, championship winning season for the Newport Tigers landed six offensive players on the First-Team; Senior Quarterback Marius Edwards, Senior Running Back Jagger Lovely, Senior Wingback Bryce WIlley, Senior Tight End Tanner Proper, Senior Offensive Lineman Josh Orlowski, and his linemate Senior Offensive Lineman Adriano Urista. Newport was well represented on defense as well, with five defenders honored; Junior Defensive Lineman Devyn Heino, Senior Defensive Lineman Chase Hamilton, D-IV Player of the Year Senior Linebacker Josh Sharron, Sophomore Linebacker Karter Pollari, and Senior Defensive Back Ryder Lovely. Honorable Mentions for the Tigers included Sophomore Lineman Makyi Matheson, Junior Lineman Dylon Carpenter, and Freshman Lineman Logan Ash. Newport’s Head Coach, John Proper, was named the D-IV Coach of the Year as well.
