A Westminster, Vermont resident has been charged with DUI following a single-car accident Tuesday night, reports the VT State Police-Westminster Barracks.
At approximately 9 PM on Tuesday, December 8th, the VSP received a report of a single-car accident on Westminster Heights Road in Westminster. 21-year-old Thomas Abare was identified as the operator of the vehicle upon arrival.
At this time, troopers observed multiple signs of impairment in Abare and screened him for DUI. He was then arrested and transported to the Westminster VSP Barracks to be processed.
He was released with a citation to appear in Windham County Court on January 12,2020 at 1:30 PM to answer to the DUI charge.
