
A New York man was arrested Monday in Warner on multiple charges after being caught traveling at double the speed limit, reports the New Hampshire State Police.
At approximately 10:30 PM on Monday, December 28th, 2020, a NH State Trooper observed a motor vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 89 through Warner at a high rate of speed. It was determined that the vehicle was traveling at 132 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. A second trooper responded to the area and was able to track down and pull over the vehicle.
An initial investigation of the vehicle yielded that the driver was 21-year-old Randher Alcantra-Bautista of Bronx, NY. Alcantra-Bautista was found to be driving the vehicle while impaired.
He was then arrested and charged with; Aggravated DUI-Drugs, Reckless Operation, Transporting Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a False Government ID. According to police, he refused all requested testing prior to being processed and released.
Alcantra-Bautista is now awaiting arraignment at the Hillsborough District Circuit Court.
