Police Looking for Home Invasion Suspect

The Vermont State Police are investigating a home invasion which occurred on Monday morning in Hartford.

According to WCAX, the incident happened at approximately 1:45 PM, inside a home on Christian Street. Police state that two men broke into the residence, shot one individual in the arm, and hit another with a metal pipe before fleeing the premises. Reportedly, the victims both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Using a K-9, police were able to track down 33-year-old Anthony Cormier, who was then arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. At last update, authorities are still looking for Calvin Therrien, 40.

Police believe that this was an isolated incident, and state that all involved were familiar with each other.
