Police Launch Investigation into Burglary in Randolph

The Vermont State Police-Royalton Barracks are investigating a burglary at a Randolph store.

According to a press release, troopers responded to the Middle Branch Market & Deli, on Route 14 in Randolph, to investigate a burglary that took place some time during the overnight hours of December 30th.

An initial investigation discovered that the suspect had entered through an unlocked bathroom window. They then stole approximately 20 packs of cigarettes before leaving through the same open window. Police state that the suspect did not leave any other signs of forced entry, and no other property damage was found.

At this time, the investigation is still ongoing.
