A single-vehicle accident in Rockingham Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Bellows Falls man on DUI charges.
According to a report from the Westminster-State Police Barracks, authorities responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on Missing Link Road at approximately 9:30 PM on Friday, April 2nd. Upon arrival, police were able to identify the operator as 62-year-old Arthur Madore Jr. of Bellows Falls. An investigation yielded that Madore Jr. was impaired, and he was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was then transported to the Westminster Barracks to be processed.
Madore Jr. was later released with a criminal citation to appear in VT Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division at 11 AM on April 20th to answer to the charges of DUI #2 and Negligent Operation.
