A Claremont, NH man has been arrested for excessive speed in Bennington, VT, reports the Shaftsbury State Police Barracks.
At approximately 8:30 PM on Monday, November 18, 2019, state troopers recorded a vehicle traveling along VT Route 279 at 87 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Upon pulling the speeder over, it was discovered that the driver was 21-year-old Ifran Arif of Claremont. Arif was released and cited to appear in Bennington County Superior Court on December 30 at 8:15 AM.
He was also fined $489.
