A sex offender who faked a permission slip to become a volunteer will now serve jail time, reports HereCast.
38-year-old Daniel Conrad has multiple convictions on his record including sex acts with a nine-year-old, lewd acts with a 13-year-old and exposing himself to a child in NH. Conrad was convicted in June 2019 after it was discovered that he had made upwards of 70 visits to the Springfield, VT Humane Society with a forged “safety plan”. Essentially, a permission slip he claims was given to him by a therapist.
Although Conrad plead with judges to let him serve his sentence at home, he will remain in jail for three to five years while completing sex offender treatment.
